Getting Excited About Excercise

I joined a gym recently, and I am really excited to be more active. I work at an office and sitting at a computer all day isn’t the best formula for a healthy lifestyle. So I started going to the gym everyday. It takes time and effort, but like anything with those requirements, it is worth it. It feels good to take care of yourself; not just physically, but mentally and emotionally as well.

One of the great things about going to a gym is that if you are any good at people watching, there is always some good entertainment. There are the wanna be body builders lifting the heaviest weights and glancing around sneakily to see if anyone is noticing how great their body is. The Cardio Club is very popular, and membership is made up of women between the ages of 20-35 who are great believers in brightly colored spandex. All of the stereotypes can be found, and it is great fun watching people do what they do.

So if like me, you are ready to take the leap and get excited about exercise; I hope you realize that you are not alone. Just take a look around at all of the other people working right along side you. Laugh a little and Keep going. You can do it!
