The Best Possible Way
…the best possible way to prepare for tomorrow is to concentrate with all your intelligence, all your enthusiasm, on doing today’s work superbly today. That is the only possible way you can prepare for the future. ~ Dale Carnegie
Go With A Twinkle
Go forward in life with a twinkle in your eye and a smile on your face, but with great and strong purpose in your heart. Never forget that you came to earth as a child of the divine Father with something of divinity in your very makeup. ~ Gordon B. Hinckley
Persistence and Determination
Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. ~ Calvin Coolidge

The Lonely Ache
The lonely ache is here again
It likes to strike in the wee AM
Ghosts of loved ones haunt my mind
Some living, some dead, all removed by time
The deep ache hurts but pain tinges sweet
With memories renewed in each heart beat.
A pang of longing for special guests.
Who now only remain in my lonely breast.
It’s a paradox to have a heart so full
Yet also empty with this pain so dull.
And I wait once more for the sun to rise.
To renew my soul and dry my eyes.
