When you worry that someone dislikes you, is upset with you, or that the situation is worse than it truly is, stop and think, “Who told you that?” Usually, you won’t know the answer and will discover that it’s only a thought, which you can choose to reject.

An Unexplained Dread

If you’re feeling an unexplained dread or angry, or upset, think about how long it’s been since you took care of your physical needs. A snack, a nap, or a drink of water will often go a long way.
