This last week I was going through my clothes and donating stuff. I got to thinking about the benefits of decluttering a space and enjoying simple things. So today we’re talking about minimalism.
When you worry that someone dislikes you, is upset with you, or that the situation is worse than it truly is, stop and think, “Who told you that?” Usually, you won’t know the answer and will discover that it’s only a thought, which you can choose to reject.
What I am suggesting is that each of us turn from the negativism that permeates our society and look for the remarkable good among those with whom we associate, that we speak of one another’s virtues more than we speak of one another’s faults, that optimism replace pessimism, that our faith exceed our fears. ~ Gordon B.
