It was pretty unclear, that face in the mirror, no matter how the glass sparkled.
The image outside might be easily defined, but inside murky depths cast a haze.
So because of the fear, I avoided the mirror. I saw nothing to reflect at or marvel.
Beauty it seemed, was just not for me. In my portrait I saw nothing worth praise.

A Different Walk Today
Estimated Reading Time 1 MinutesI try my best to get outside and walk everyday. It makes a big difference in mind, body, and spirit. So yesterday when I saw some leaders of my church post about walking in solidarity for people who are hungry, I was touched. Today I decided to really think about and pray for those who are hungry. The first thing I realized and that’s a little embarrassing to admit is that per usual, I took a snack along. Right out the door, I was thankful to have food that so many people don’t have. I sometimes take photos when the moment strikes, but as I took my walk today I decided to really notice anything and everything that sparked a thankful thought. Here are some of the highlights: This was the highlight of my day. A simple reminder that it’s the simple everyday pleasures that mean so much. Here’s hoping you had a great day too!
