Scheduling Appointments
Don’t schedule appointments on Mondays or Fridays. At the beginning of the week, people are still getting into the groove, usually busy, and sometimes emotional. On Fridays, they’re focused on the weekend. You’ll get the best out of others during the middle of the week.

It might sound backward, but studies show that if you do something nice for someone, you will like them more and want to help them again. It’s called The Benjamin Franklin Effect. According to legend, Franklin asked an enemy if he could borrow a book, then thanked him profusely. They became lifelong friends.
