Thoughts: I loved this book so much, I read it twice back to back. In a familiar and conversational way, Gay Hendricks teaches some profound truths about human nature and why it is most of us won’t tolerate true success in our lives. This book is definitely a game-changer.

First sentence: I call it the Upper Limit Problem, and I haven’t met a person yet who didn’t suffer at least a little bit from it.

Favorite Quote From the Book: In my life I’ve discovered that if I cling to the notion that something’s not possible, I’m arguing in favor of limitation. And if I argue for my limitations, I get to keep them.
