The World On My Wall

The World on my wall is a majestic escape when I’m lying in bed on difficult days.

A natural scene full of wonder and charm to calm my heart in the midst of the storm.

When outside is gloomy and the sun hides his face, the world on my wall lends a small bit of grace.

My mind goes to the forest traversing a path leading to the mountains where the magic is at.

And though I’m inside on my bed feeling down, my soul is out there where the fairies abound.

The world on my wall is a portal to places where the fresh air and pines delight all the senses,
Where birds sing in tune to the songs I love most, and berries for picking line dusty roads.

And in this world there are mountains to climb, adventures to face while a golden sun shines.

Clouds sail across a vast pale sky, any direction you look pleases the eye.
The world on my wall is the best kind of muse, a picture to live in, a story I choose.

So when I’m in bed on those difficult days, I take another look, and I’m off and away.
